Pallet wrapping

Stretchwrapping has established itself over many years as the ideal and affordable way to secure and protect palletised loads ready for transportation.

A turntable wrapper is a cost-effective solution for most applications. Here the load is placed on a turntable which spins at up to 16rpm, with the wrapping arm simply moving up and down to ensure the load is wrapped. Up to 30 pallets per hour can be wrapped in this way.

For heavy or unstable loads, or where faster throughput is required, Orion can supply a radial arm wrapper, with the load remaining stationery while the wrapping arm circles it. The arm can rotate at up to 40rpm, achieving throughput of 90 pallets per hour.

Both turntable and radial arm wrappers come as automatic and semi-automatic models, with power stretch available to optimise consumable use and drive down cost.
