Built To Last
Design
Orion provides both ‘off the shelf’ and bespoke systems, enabling it to meet customers’ needs time and time again.
Where a bespoke solution is called for, Orion designs it using Inventor, a state-of-the-art 3D AUTOCAD system. This enables the customer to view their system in its entirety before being built, allowing for ‘right first time’ engineering and building, and driving costs down.
Build
All Orion equipment – standard and bespoke - is engineered and built in-house from locally sourced components by Orion’s team of qualified engineers. Rather than aluminium (which is used by many companies), all Orion stretchwrapping machines are constructed from solid steel, offering greater robustness and reliability in even the toughest
environments.
Installation
All equipment is installed and configured on customer premises by Orion, with initial training session provided for users, covering functionality, health and safety, and basic troubleshooting. Additional training for new users can also be arranged at a later date.
After-sales
All new machines come with a three year manufacturer’s warranty, while Orion will develop a service contract
package depending on exact customer requirements. To minimise machine downtime, Orion guarantees a fast response by telephone, or attendance by an on-site engineer within 24 hours. All mobile service engineers are employed directly by Orion - so they are specialists in Orion equipment - and have ‘Passport’ training in health and safety.
Orion has also developed a system of remote fault diagnosis and machine reprogramming via modem, to reduce machine downtime still further.
